To boost the confidence of students,
P.G. Department of Computer Science and IT of PCM S.D. College for Women,
Jalandhar organized a "Declamation Contest" on "Emerging
New Technologies in Computer Science" on September 8th, 2022. The
competition was aimed to provide an open platform for students to express their
views. Many students actively participated with enthusiasm in the event.
Judges evaluated students on insight
and understanding of their topic selection, voice, and diction during their
presentations, how their gestures and expressions contributed to their
interpretation, and the overall effectiveness of their presentations. Pooja
bagged the first prize, Teesha came second, the third prize tie between Ekta
and Kritika, and a consolation prize goes to Ankita.
Addressing the students, the Head of
Department Mrs. Shivani Dutta congratulate the winners and motivate the
participants, she also added that the students should channelize their energy
in the right direction and establish themselves successfully in their careers.
