To celebrate the one year Of "Cyber Awareness Day", under the guidelines of "Education Cell of Higher Education and Languages", P.G. Department of Computer Science and I.T. of PCM S.D College for Women, Jalandhar organized a Seminar on the topic "Cybersecurity" on October 6th, 2022 for the awareness of Increasing Cyber Crime attacks and cyber terrorism. The topics covered under this seminar are need of security, security problems, cyber attacks, tips for safe online shopping, india ranking in cyber security initiatives, initiatives taken by Government of India. It was an insightful session where more than 100 students participated. Ms. Annie Ahuja threw light upon the topic and informed the students about the threats that can turn problematic if not controlled timely. Students can also learn about most common cyber attacks on college campuses, from phishing attempts to social media hacks, and how students can protect themselves.
The interaction was carried out which also included question answers sessions related to mobile and site hacking.
The Cyber Security session was indeed great learning for all the students.
